Animal Smiley 036 Hello from Ohio!!

We are Jimm & Pat and we live in east central Ohio. Thank you for allowing us to join your forum. We haven't had a Yorkie for around five years now. We lost our Yorkie, who weighed 1 pound exactly, at one year of age. Mickey was the cutest little purse pup you could ever imagine. He would sit on his little bottom and paw the air for you to pick him up. He lived to be in our laps or be a little clown. Sadly, we were told we should have him neutered by our vet. He never made it through surgery. To say we were devastated would be to put it mildly.

I don't think I would ever consider neutering a tiny puppy like he was...it's just too dangerous. So for those of you who have tiny little Yorkies, be aware of the dangers of surgery. I know he was well below the standard for size, and consequently his size probably confused the vet on just how much anesthetic he could endure.

Anyway, we would love join your discussion groups...and, if you're wondering, no...we were never able to bring another Mickey into our lives. But, we can talk about it now...and that's probably the start of another love affair.

Thanks for listening!!
