I've always had dogs, multi usually. My kids grew up with an Afghan Hound, not my choice at the time, only went to look at the pups with their dad. We had a tiny Yorkie then, both slept together. My kids are grown now so I think that I was born to always be a mother, get more pleasure from dogs then kids. My son wants a Whippet, fell in love with his friend's but his wife won't let him have one. He was going to give me one as a Xmas gift but I was warned (DIL) and passed on the Whippet! When those large breeds are cutting their molars, eat the furniture.
