Well thanks for everyone's input. Everyone told me to feed him 3 times per day until 4 months, then start to move him to twice a day when I first got him (incliding the breeder). Instead of feeding him 3 times a day I always left food out for him until about 3 months ago (so 5 months of age) because I was unable to come home and feed him at lunch time. I was told it would help with the potty training also because he would be on a schedule. Looks like I need to go back to free feeding.
