the ears standing early doesnt have anything to do with what a pup will weigh as an adult, most puppies slow down in their weight gain at about 6 months.

Also many babies will lose weight once leaving for their forever home because they are no longer being fed in a pac. They begin eating at their own pace.

I free feed my babies so when they leave they are fat and happy example my little runt in last litter left weighing 2.5lbs at 14 weeks I saw him the other day at 6 months he is now weighing 3.5 pounds he will be lucky to reach 4 pounds.

BTW his ears were not totally standing when he left and now are.
