Higgins used to burp when he was a baby, but I haven't heard him burp lately.

I used to have an English Setter named Tiffany, who would stretch her front legs out in front of her and put her rump in the air and FART LOUDLY! Didn't usually smell, but you could hear it in the next room.....sooooo funny. We called her "Tuneful Tiffany."

All Goldens have that wonderful gentle-giant-sort-of-goofy look that covers a very smart and gentle personality. We had one named Harry for about a year. Raised him from a baby. He, like all Goldens, particularly liked children. The grandchildren "borrowed" him for a week one summer. And he never did come home. Lived to a ripe old age and retired in Kentucky, having taken good care of those kids for me...........Harry LOVED to play tugsock and had plenty of strength to tug me right off the couch in one yank. We got a little Sheltie puppy and the very first morning big ol' Harry brought tiny Lucy his tugsock and dangled it in front of her. She grabbed on and that gentle giant played the sweetest game of tug with her.....it was sooooo cute. They were best buds and played tugsock often after that. Aren't all dogs wonderful?
