Doodle is soooooo right! Many many of us are just plain lucky to have our babies with us still! Its very difficult to have all eyes and ears on everything going on in your life at the same time! I lost my precious stuart because I did not see him eating rat poison. I don't have that in my house, but he got it somewhere. I spent so much time blaming myself, but time helps to ease the guilt you feel. Also you just need to accept it was a total accident, it was not your grandchild, and you are a GREAT mother, grandmother and furbaby mamma! In time you will remember the love you gave Asti and how well you did take care of her for so long and you will let the guilt go! I know time seems to go by so slowly, but one really great thing about time is that it heals us!
