I can agree with some of the things that yorkiedaze stated, I to researched for a year before I bought Kodak. However I did have Kodak shipped after pics were sent to me online. I told each breeder exactly what I wanted as far as size and color. I went thru about 75 breeders and sellers literally and started to eliminate. I found several people that had yorkies here but I did not like the way some of the pups and parents looked. I would visit breeders where ever I went, out of town and around town. I even searched the newspapers. I researched and checked references and the Akc & Ytca to make sure the breeder was reputable. She is in Oklahoma and she shipped Kodak to Chicago and he's been healthy for 2 yrs. I thank God for his health and I am now going with another breeder closer to home. I will drive this time to get my new one. So do your research, talk to the breeders and see how knowledgeable they are. Make sure you are comfortable with how they raise their dogs and that they are not a kennel. Good luck |
