I know for a fact that if you tape those ears, leave it there for a day, they will be standing straight up for you. as for trimming the hair, if that is the only method you try, I believe that takes several days to work. I was impatient so went ahead with the taping and it worked like a charm. So...good luck and PLEASE don't forget to let us know how it works for you. and post pics of those ears standing up!!!
