The answer is No, No, No, and NO!!! What a dick. Of course you could still go to school and become a doctor if that is your goal. Maybe not right away, but you certainly should let go of your dreams and goals because of this jerk.
I was in a realtionship with a guy like this a long time ago. Unless you leave him now, you're going to start to believe the mean things he's telling you. You deserve better than that. If you want him to be a part of the boys' lives, he can. But I definitely wouldn't want him to continue to be a large part of yours.
You're still young, and there are a lot of guys out there that will treat you the way you deserve to be treated. You also still have a lot of time left to continue your education and fulfill your dreams.
Don't let this guy push you around and verbally abuse you. He needs to go.
