Poor Snoodles had something caught in her throat and was having a terrible time breathing this morning! It scared the holy crap out of me! I tried to get it out, but she was having a really hard time breathing, so I ran out of the house--sped through red lights--she would collapse and I would shake her and hit her on the back--my heart was pounding--(too old for this) ran in the vet's they grabbed her and took her back--all the while I am shaking like a leaf! They came back out, and she had a piece of Petrodex stuck in her throat. They said not to give her any more of them--or rawhide chews that it is too dangerous with the little ones! Believe it or not, he never charged me a cent! Could have blown me over! I am still shaking! What a scare that was! I thought sure she would quit breathing before I could get there! I guess small towns have some redeeming features--3 minutes to the vet! Thank God she is all right!
