My dog caught a rodent last summer. My next door neighbor who is a vet tech mixed up hydrogen peroxide and water and with a syringe put it down my dogs throat. This caused vomiting within minutes. We also did this when my dog ate a bird.
These birds and rodents carry disease. She said the dog will eventually throw it up in your house anyway, so better to have them regurgitate it right away. Usually the dog throws up about three or four times after this, so keep an eye on him. You might want to check with your vet the proper ratio of the solution. I think it was half peroxide half water. |
