He's a bit large to stud but FYI breeders use redlegs every 4th or 5th generation to bring color back into the line. They are basically throw backs that bring alot of strengths with them. Coat texture is not the only requirement for evaluating whether you have a redleg on your hands or not. You can read more about it at Angel Yorkies, Julie is great about answering questions too.
