I agree with this whole heartedly. Not everyone wants that small of a dog. I have looked into getting one but was undecided if it would fit my lifestyle. I take My dogs on 1 mile walks every day. I dont think a tiny yorkie could keep up to that. That is why I prefer the 5-6 lb range yorkie. Some people have children and having a small yorkie and children is not a good idea. There are alot of reasons people may want larger yorkies

That is so the truth! My Gracie LOVES walks. I swear she would walk a marathon is I could keep up but Sugar expects to be held. There really is a big difference at least in mine and it should be an educated decision because I think Sugar would drive most people nuts. I personally love it because I always wanted a cuddly, sweet dog and Gracie is all about, play with me or leave me the heck alone. I tried for 3 yrs to turn her into something she just isn't. I swear when I baby talk her she is rolling her eyes. She worships my husband however because he's all about playing and definitely doesn't try to baby her and I have Sugar to take all of my ooey gooey girlyness out on . I worried at first that Gracie would be jealous but I think she's like- thank God that crazy woman is finally giving me some peace!
