Again - No one here puts down tinies - I've been here a long time and see people offering info for those new to yorkies and want a tiny but it's in no way bashing them.
WARNING about them is far different than bashing and I seriously doubt anyone is jealous...I know for a fact I'm not - I LOVE them and wouldn't mind having one myself but I've always been perfectly happy with my girls and think most all people here can say the same -
we Love yorkies here - big AND small .....if posting about the REAL dangers tinies can face helps someone make an informed decision about their next pet - then what's wrong with that ??
An example - cocker spaniels used to be THE Popular Breed - When they became popular - the breed was practically ruined -
IF I saw someone wanting a cocker spaniel - I would def warn them about the chronic ear infections they have ....Since I HAVE a gorgeous cocker myself - (I had THREE Cockers actually) ... it doesn't mean I'm putting them down ...I'm just sharing what I KNOW to be true - ALL of my cockers were prone to bad ear infections....Tessa is now 12 years old and MANY many vet visits later -she's still having chronic ear infections. It's just something that this breed has issues with -
It's the same with tiny yorkies - hypoglycemia and injuries happen far easier with tinies than a bigger yorkie - but it's not bashing them & certainly
not jealousy when someone says that.
