We have a Finnigen, named after the dog Finnigen on Mr. Dress Up. Mr. Dress Up was the best (Canadian) Children's show of all time. Anyone who is older than about 25 will remember Casey and Finnigen from Mr. Dress Up. (My cousins have a cocker spaniel named Casey.)

Well on the show, Finnigen never talked, he would whisper in Casey ear and then Casey would talk for him. He was the cutest little grey puppet dog and a huge part of most Canadian children's childhood.

When people ask my dog's name and I tell him, I either get strange looks and "Finni - what" or they smile and proclaim "I loved Finnigen when I was a kid".
