This is just a discussion... not an argument or debate. It's annoying to me when people provide rude or harsh responses directed at someone. All of our members on YT are lovers of yorkies, and we are here to discuss them... in a mature way instead of saying things like your last sentence quoted above. I'm not trying to personally attack you in any way, shape, or form - just giving you my opinion that I don't think we should be attacking other members.
BTW, I do have a small Yorkie - he's 3 lbs... and I think he's cute as heck. BUT I do wish he was closer to 5-6lbs. |
Just so you know I was not referring to your post. Reread ALL my threads and you will see my position on the matter. I will discuss, debate even argue my point and opinion just like everyone else. If people can't handle the truth and take it personally so be it. To be honest I think I have been fair and balanced and rational.
I will defend small yorkie owners as well as large yorkie owners against ignorance, and on occassion even jealousy. As long as threads such as these get started asking us to explain why we chose a smaller yorkie I will be here to ask WHY ? You don't see people starting threads asking people to explain/defend larger ones do you? All of my threads have been a contribution to the TOTAL POST being made. I am a new and very passionate and educated Yorkie owner and I will defend and take up for Jaxson and all his Yorkie brothers and sisters, (because they are all related in the grand scheme of things), big and small.
It just seems to me that in every thread ever posted about smaller yorkies its always small owners who have to defend and explain themselves. Its really not about the health because we all know the pros and cons of small and large. People have made statements OUTRIGHT STATING that having a small yorkie is not good and they should not be gotten because they have health issues, which is a statement that is NOT true. Its about the breeder. If you go out and get a poorly breed dog BIG OR SMALL it is going to have health issues.
So when threads like this are started I feel like the underlying issue is far deeper then we are reading, otherwise we wouldn't keep seeing this issue pop up once a week.
Have a happy and blessed day!
