ya know, I never meant the vet said it was asthma. he just said it sound close to it. But again, I had had them ck her trachea when she was spayed and all of that was fine he said. But I have wondered if maybe it didnt happen until like after the surgery and could have been caused from the insertion of the tube they put in their throat. But at the time I wasnt thinking of that since it was fine at the time they checked hers when she had the surgery. I think when I take her back I'll just ask him to check it again and see if it could have happened afterwards yet caused from it. Does anyone understand what I mean by this? Because that was actually my first thoughts when she started doing this so bad, as it did start about a week or so after her surgery. just before Christmas and she had the surgery on the 1st. but in my mind, I was thinking , well they checked that at the time of the surgery. But it is possible I guess it could had weakened her trachea from the tube insertion. I will keep giving her this meds for a while, he only gave me 28 at 3 a day would only last about 4 weeks. that should give me time to see if it gets better or not. Also if her trachea was weakened from the tube maybe along with the meds helping her breath easier it might help it to get well. But I do think having it chked again wouldnt hurt. It might be a good idea to take her to another vet if he dont seem to want to rechk it and say its all allergies before I settle for that opinion.
