Animal Smiley 049 Health First!!!

Brianna,
I am new to Yorkie talk, but I have owned yorkies for ten years now, and just from my experience, the less they weigh, the more health problems they have. I am not saying that there are NO healthy little ones....because I am sure that there are some tiny little ones that do fine...I am just saying that the breed standard is up to 7 pounds and when they are bred smaller, they are weaker and generally have more issues. Not to mention more deaths from accidents (falling off the bed, stepping on them, etc.)

So, if you DO find one that small...be prepared to love and keep it COME WHAT MAY....because by nature they will have problems that larger, more sturdy yorkies just rarely have. I wish you the best in your serach....
