Of the three puppies I saw in Tucker's litter, he was the smallest and the hair on his head had not broken through with any other color whereas his two brothers had their new color roots clearly visible. They were 8 weeks at that time.
If I recall correctly, his brothers were breaking through to tan and when Tucker finally started showing his new color he has silver-white roots. Is that normal? This whole color stuff confuses me. I just know he is beautiful.
