esbilac is a puppy milk replacer. Comes pre mixed or powder form you mix. I sprinkled it on Zoies food while pregnant & nursing and on the puppies food when they went to solids. It is supposed to be used to feed orphaned animals.

I have bottle raised orphaned: 2 litters of bunnies first set was about 1 week old 2nd set was 1 day old, a squirrel from the time he had his eyes closed, a skunk and an oppossum that had eyes closed. All were released back to the wild. The major problem with supplementing you need to be very very careful they do not aspirate the milk into their lungs. Animals tend to reject a dropper or petag bottle and a good chance they breathe it rather then drink it. If it gets into their lungs they can get pneumonia and will most likely die.
