Update: I'm a little perplexed about the whole thing right now. The phone posted in the "found" ad gave the not available message until about 10:30 this morning and then a lady answered. I told her I thought she had found my dog and described him in detail-those distinguishing features only an owner would probably notice. She asked a couple of questions like if I kept him in the backyard, etc. - which I found kind of odd, but I expect he is marking his territory. You have to put something on the paper for him to mark if you want him to potty there...don't ask. Anyway, she took my contact information and told me she would have to contact the person who has him. I gave her about 2 hours and called back, but it went to voicemail. I left a message that I was just checking up to see if she had contacted the person about my dog. I know it's only been a little over 4 hours but the waiting is killing me. She never really acknowledged if the details matched or not. I wish I had asked more questions now, but I really thought I'd get a call back within 15 minutes or so. I was very excited and happy, but now I don't know what to think.... When I find out more, I'll let you all know. Thanks again for all the concern. |
