, Pepper used to be a barkless dog up to the age of 5 months or so... He'd growl a little at his own toys, we even were able to smuggle him to a no pets hotel room and he stayed silent the whole time. But he did start barking, he's not a yapper thank God... He barks when someone goes through our gate (the clang of metal set him off), doorbell and that's mostly it.
