Does anyone else's yorkie's tummy make incredibly loud squishy gurgling digesting noises??? The first time it happened I was very alarmed, but it seems to happen regularly and doesn't affect his mood - I mean he doesn't even seem to notice it! Every time it happens he has really soft stools afterwards, but I don't think it's necessarily diarrhea - just really soft.
I have some Metronidazole to give him (the breeder gave me some) but I have such a hard time getting him to take it. I just gave him some today because he just had a poop with lots of mucus in it. Ick.
I haven't changed his diet, but I'm starting to think maybe the food he's on is not agreeing with him. He's still on the Eukanuba that the breeder had him on, but I'm thinking maybe I should switch him sooner than I planned...or will that just add to his troubles?
He seems to have a lot of gas and really stinky poops.
