Why are there always people here who have to reply to the posts as if they are the only ones that have a brain? I am 29 years old, married for 6.5 years, have 2 children under the age of 4, and have raised dogs since I can remember. Not that i have to explain to some of you but come on..anyone with a brain stem knows animals cost money.

To those who posted to help answer my question, thank you, I appreciate it.

As for the unsolicited advice, no thank you. This is hard enough as it is.
Gee Heather, I think everyone one is being enormously kind to you. When I read your post I felt extreme anguish about Carter and your lack of funds to care for him and then you're like, "but I got a new puppy, help me name it."

This was like a good news bad news joke gone bad. Maybe your just in shock, I know I would be. Good Luck with Carter.
