I started bathing my guy as soon as we got him (12 weeks)

Also, I use - and LOVE - Buddy Wash (shampoo) and Buddy Rinse (conditioner) by Cloud Star. I have tried MANY different shampoos/conditioners on my little one (I have spent TONS of $$$!) and this works the best BY FAR on his hair. They are GREAT shampoos and conditioners! Oh yeah - and it smells great too
