When Lucy was little she would not eat. I had to throw the dry food one at a time into the base board, when it bounced off she would run over and eat it. She only wanted to eat if it was like hunting I guess. We had alot of eating problems for the first 6 months. I was told that a healthly dog will not starve itself. I think she might have. She would get week then we brought out the nutrical. Today she eats like all other dogs from a bowl with no problem. But I did anything at first to get her to eat. Also I never gave her any treats for the first 6 months. But she became a better eater once I gave her the treats. So I did what worked for us. I'm sure many people would not agree with what I did, but in the end it all ended up fine. And she is a great dog today and not spoiled rotten, just spoiled.
