Smile My 2 cents

I don't think it's a problem, but I imagine it depends on the dog. My previous yorkie always slept with me...from the first day we brought her home. She never had an accident on the bed, and I didn't worry about smushing her at night because I knew she would make herself known. Heck, sometimes if I nudged her a little at night she would growl like, "This is my bed and you are disturbing my sleep!" LOL! Gosh I loved her and miss her still. She was also larger than my current yorkie and could easily jump off & on the bed, so although she slept with me 99% of the time, if I was too restless she would hop down and find a better spot to spend the rest of the night.

I would like Jackson to be able to sleep with me too, but I'm not sure he ever will...at least not on a regular basis. For one thing, he's already had an accident at the foot of the bed one night when I let him sleep with me. But even once he is housebroken (gosh, I sure hope that day will come), I don't know if he'll ever be able to jump off & on the bed. He's so little and not as bouncy as my last little furbaby. He seems pretty content in his special bed that Santa brought him, however, so at least I don't feel like I'm denying him. And we always have some cuddle time in bed before I put him in his own bed for the night.
