I think the ingredient PERMETHRIN was the one to watch out for.
I use Revolution on Toby, and used Advantage on Lola as the vet recommended not to use Revolution until she was older and had a little more weight on her. Unfortunately, there are side effects to most of these -- and it is very scary. I think that some dogs react to different things. I do not use flea prevention year round -- just when we have a bad infestation. Usually a couple of months, two times a year.
