My little guy's on Eukanuba only because that's what he was already being fed at the breeder's. I don't want to switch him right away for fear of upsetting his tummy, but I will begin mixing in some higher quality food in a few weeks. I've written down everyone's suggestions...now it's off to the pet food store to see what's in stock in my area! I'd love to get him on Chicken Soup but I've never seen it in stores here. I do recall seeing Merricks and Canidae though.
This thread has been a real eye opener - my bichon spent his entire life on Iams and I thought it was good for him. Guess I was wrong.
Makes me wonder if he would have lived longer on a higher quality diet.
