my bunjee was nearly 5 lbs when he was neutered. now he's 9 lbs! but the weight gain was not due to the neutering. he was only 4 months old when he was neutered and still a growing boy. bunjee's parents were between 7 to 9 lbs themselves. so bunjee is "bigger" but not by much. bubba was neutered sometime in his adult life and still weighs 6.5 lbs right now.

from what i've read, neutering earlier can result in a higher adult weight because testostrone is what tells the body it's reached adult weight. but the weight gain is negligible. neutering will not effect weight in older puppies/adult dogs.
