First of all, the story is heart wrenching...I sobbed and sobbed. Then I read Villette's post and cried more. I can relate to that so well. Then to read Schatzie's story...my gosh...it is bad enough to kill an animal, but how could anyone kill a pet? As far as I'm concerned, it's just as bad as when a mother kills her children! Those poor dogs...especially the ones that had to wait their turn...breaks my heart and makes me so angry! Our pets trust us to protect them and do well for them and they should be secure in that and not have to ever look down the barrel of a gun in the hands of their owner or feel the fear those poor dogs had to endure! This just plain sickens me! |
