You can keep saying that, but it doesn't make it so. In fact, I did NOT intend to be rude.
My use of the word "stupid" was flippant, and I was counting on all the smilies in the message to convey the intent that I was posting with. But I guess that hit the wrong note with you right off the bat, and colored the way you heard the rest of my message. I should have used the word "misguided" or something.
Read it again, and maybe you'll see that I was aligning myself WITH you more than AGAINST you. I have some of the same decisions to work through. When I was talking about doing my research before thinking about breeding, I was ACKNOWLEDGING that that was what you were doing as well, and that is great.
However, you did state at least twice in this thread (and I haven't followed the other one) that you wanted to breed to get a pup that would look and act like Peeka. I did think that fallacy needed to be addressed.
