Puppies get genes from both parents and there are dominant and recessive genes. Puppies in the same litter often have very different temperaments. No breeder can duplicate a dog. I also think it's a little disconcerting that you seem so impatient, as if it was extremely important to get this show on the road. Not a great trait in a breeder. Also, many genetic defects can't be identified until the puppy is at least one year old. In addition, I think breeders have to develop extremely thick skins!

I don't have a problem taking criticism it's they way she posted it she meant it to be rude!! I didn't say i was going to breed him tomorrow he is only 8 1/2 months old i am asking now so that when he is old enough if i choose to i will be prepared to make this decision. I want to learn all i can to make an educated decision about it. Studding him for just his personality is not my main reason i am very picky about what i want in my yorkie so if i am satisfied with how he is and how the female is are you saying i am wrong to want a puppy from their litter? I am not a breeder and i am not stupid either i came for advice and i knew i would get some comments like these but was hopeful that they would be done with a little taste but obviously that was stretching it. If i wanted the same exact dog as Peeka i would have him cloned!!! f you noticed i have been researching at home as well i have taken Peeka to one breeder and i am seeing another very nice one tonight i am not jumping or rushing into anything! I really don't have to defend myself to anyone it is my choice i just really thought instead of just throwing my dog in with a female that i might research it and
Consider all my options!
