Izzy and I just flew from Detroit to Nashville for Christmas. It was his first plane ride. He slept the whole time on the way there...we had a late flight, 9:30pm. When we landed he got a little scared so I took him out and held him in my lap. On the way back to Detroit, was a different story. We had an early morning flight and he cried and barked most of the way, but the funny thing was, no one really heard him because the plane noise was so loud! I had him on my lap in the beginning but the flight attendant made me put him away, that is when he cried.
I did take a wee pad with me and took him to the Family Restroom and let him go, and I had treats and water. I might fly with him again, but not long flights.
If you are looking for a carrier, they have cute ones at Petco by Nicole Miller. Mine is blue and brown with an argyle pattern, very stylish!
