Ruger was on Iv fluids and stayed at the vet for nine days, it was awful. His sugar level got down to 13 at one point and he was seizing. Once the giardia was detected which was causing him to vomit and he got on medicine he came back around. he is now doing great and is all puppy, but it was tuch and go for awhile. I was giving him karo syrup and water through a syringe, but he eventually needed fluids from an IV, if he still isn't doing well i would take him to the vet, if you wait too long and their sugar levels drop they can go very fast.
