I remember reading an article years and years ago about a lady that had one of those tiny chihuahuas. He drowned in the washer. Apparently, he crawled into the pile of dirty clothes and she came along and put it in the washer. This story has stuck with me for all of these years. I thought it was so sad.
If not in a car seat, at least, put a halter and leash on your baby when he is by the open car window. You can then hold onto the halter and leash for safety.
In a repeat and repeat and repeat mode...keep electrical cords off the floor and covered. They can chew through one in seconds. |
