Chachi is correct. No reputable breeder in their right mind would let their furbabies go in that condition. A breeder here (Sylvan) kept one of her babies (now owned by Michiko) until she knew it was 100% healthy because the pup was smaller than usual (no she doesn't breed for "teacups," just happened to be a tiny one).
Some people, I swear.
I hope your pup gets healthy in no time. Just make sure he/she is eating, drinking, and well supplemented.
