Gin-Gin does the same thing with me quite often. I just make sure that I carry a treat with me on our walks and when she grabs something that I do not want her to have, I just pull out a treat and say "drop it" and she does and then I give her a treat and let her know what a good girl she was for letting Mommy have it.
