also, if you are cheap like me and don't want to spend the $50 for hte ones at the mall you can always uses tube socks and rice. we use them at the vets office for patients waking up from surgery. just pop them in the microwave for a few minutes and presto, a portable heating pad for any place on your body. works great for necks, stomachs, and backs.

I agree. I have thrown out 2 of the fragrant ones because they were too intense. My old standby is a pair of large mens tube sox filled with rice. I keep one in the freezer and one in the cabinet by the micro. I can have ice or heat whenever i need it. After a recent concussion and cervical strain it was nice to have both. (I use micro'd rice sox for the babies, it's calming and i don't have to worry about them getting too hot with a heating pad)
