I know that it can get dogs very sick if not caught in time. Thankfully shena hasnt had any hair loss or anything major like that; we just noticed her scratching at her ears a lot and little scabs there... that's why we took her in right away and they did a scrape and found those lovely little creatures.
Now she doesnt scratch at all, and scabs are all gone. The medicine she is on (ivertmicin) is what I think is helping. The shampoo is just an antibiotic shampoo to help so she doesnt get a skin infection. And she was on antibiotics orally for 10 days. Yep he follows the directions pretty good. Its funny to see a big guy holding a 5 lb. puppy! ha ha
How did you friend get sick??? I thought they just made you itchy??
I called my daughter's pediatrician and my family doctor and they both didnt seem too concerned except for washing bedding if the dog slept with us which she doesnt she uses her crate. |
