Hi everyone. I am getting my mother a Yorkie for New Year's, but since neither one of us ever owned a puppy, I have some questions.

First, what do I need to buy before bringing my Yorkie home? I would appreciate a list of basic supplies. Also, I have a 7 month old Himalayan kitten, should I expect there to be any issues when I bring the puppy home? The kitten is very social and extremely passive.

Any tips would be appreciated, thanks!
