No your not cold hearted but you are obviously naive and your husband is running things. You stated you suggested studding out your male dog to reimburse your husband and that is just as bad. Do you know that that could possibly change your males personality? Do you know that if you care about the breed you have to get genetic testing? Well your husband doesn't care about breeding a puppie so I doubt he cares about testing either. Does he know anything or he just thinks you let them screw and 2 months later out pops some puppies and in rolls the dough? YOU NEED TO GET BOTH DOGS FIXED.
