The way we told with Cody is with his constant barking at anything and everything, his screaming in the car and when he goes to bed and the peeing and pooping in the house. He gets real upset when I clean or do anything active. When the vet tries to do anything with him he gets real excited and she could see the anxiety and fear in his eyes. He gets so upset that he expressed his anal glands last time he got shots. It is a behavior issue more than hyperactvity. But, ultimately it was the vet seeing the absolute terror in his eyes that made her say he needed Clomicalm. Without it he is a basketcase all night and paces the floor and cries and barks and acts like he just doesn't know what to do with himself. He is real restless and can not be alone. |
