I think this just means your puppy wants to exercise. One of Joey's favorite games is chase the dust mop. I stand in one place and try to keep it from him. He loves this game and it tires him out before me. I usually sing a football fight song while playing it and now, when he hears the fight song he runs for the mop. Another game we play is fetch, when he returns with the toy, if he doesn't release it when I say "down", I pick him up and he releases it, I then say "thank you" and now saying "thank you" causes him to release the toy. He gets really tired playing these games without wearing me out. Puppies need exercise.
