My best friend has been low carb dieting for 2 months now and she has lost 40lbs(15% of her weight)! Im so proud of her. My dad also had diabetes and he low carb dieted and he is now in the best shape of his life and his diabetes are now completely under control.
But one thing I didnt knwo about low carb dieting that I recently learned: it can cause kidney stones. My best firend had a horrible case of kidney stones last month and the doctors said it was becasue of too much protien in her diet brought on by the adkins diet she is on. He said to be sure and drink lots and lots of water. |
