I read somewhere they start calming down around 2 years... So it might be justa Yorkie trait. Pepper gets overly hyper and is handful at times too... I can't even get him still to put a harness on him. But I have him run and play and go outside whenever I can and it takes hyperness out of him. He definitely isn't a type of dog to sit calmly on noone's lap.
