Question i just don't know...

the vet told me to use a cream on her before bringing her in to see him. he said to use triple antibiotic ointment with hydrocortisone on her. he thinks she is getting this sudden rash from licking from discharge. he also told me to keep her clean with a gentle warm wash cloth and a mild soap. she is going in to see him in a few days. I am worried about her though. between Romeo and her there is constant licking and i cannot get them to stop it. i seperate them and she has a hissy fit and barks and shreiks for hours. i cannot stand it. when i put him back she quiets down again. really it is nerve wrecking. :-) i will be happy when this is all over...lol. she is quite a moody little thing...lol. i have not changed her food...there is nothing new in the house that should be irritating her. i haven't changed anything at all. i cannot think of anything that should have caused this. i don't even have a christmas tree this year. i didn't spend the money since i saved it for the babies and Lexie and my other babies here. i just decided to do all of my Christmas with my parents next door. seriously there is no obvious reason to me as to why she is reacting like this. the only thing that was done to her recently was that her tummy was shaved down and her hair was washed but the woman always uses this shampoo and she has never had any reactions to it before and she didn't cut her there anyway so it is all weird...i will keep you posted and keep treating her and as i said she will go to the vet soon but i will consider any and all of your suggestions and i appreciate your help because my vet does not want me to bring her in until my appointment unless she gets worse thinking this wil help her. (he did say i could bring her in but it costs 40.00+ meds per appointment and he says he thinks i can just treat her from home saying he believes it is all from licking...and still he says i have to wait for an appointment). it is driving me nuts...
