With both my girls, we started seeing pups shortly after the clear slimey discharge. Everything sounds good, but go with your gut as to whether you should call the vet or not. I called my vet during my first batch of pups and he was great in telling me step by step what to look for. He also told me what to look for if there were any problems. It never hurts to call and ask questions. Any vet worth his weight in gold will tell you what you need to do. Because of my vets words I was able to help deliver one of my pups that was breech with no problems at all. Hopefully your vet will be helpful too. And it sure did make the nervousness go away by just talking to him.... Our prayers and thoughts are with you and yours!!!
