Yeah, I've heard that hard food is better since it cleans their teeth and I think I even read it makes them stronger, but don't quote me on that. I used to put wet food in with Maizee's dry and she would eat around the wet to get to the dry. . I guess that's why they make different degrees of hard/soft food
