Default Airplane rides

Hi all... I am new to the forum...but have flown with my little Daisy. She has flown from NC to CO and from NC to CA w/ connecting flights each way. The price is different per airline... one was $50 @way, one was $80 each way. All of this info is on the airline website, but you are suppose to call ahead to advise them you will be bringing a pet and you pay at the counter when you check in. They are suppose to stay in the carrier at all times on the floor under the seat. (I did sneak Daisy out on one flight - since I sat next to a little boy) But she did great...not a peep out of her. The only difficult thing is that during the layover for the connecting flight - there is really no where to take them - especially if you don't have alot of time. I did take her in the bathroom, gave her some water/food and walked her around alittle...but had some wipes to wipe her feet etc (no telling the germs there!). Daisy LOVED the attention, people even took pictures w/ camera phones of her - she is very small - currently 1.13lbs and adorable.
I am planning a trip to TX for New Years and yep, Daisy will be going too... she is my constant companion.
